We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our supportive team in Sydney. As one of our Field Service Technicians, your main responsibilities will include commissioning, servicing, and repairing Normets and clients' underground machinery.

What you need to succeed:

  • Certificate III in Electrical or Mechanical
  • Experience in modifying and repairing heavy mobile equipment
  • Previous underground exposure is advantageous
  • Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficiency in reading hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
  • High level of problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
  • Experience with can-bus systems is highly regarded
  • Full working rights in Australia

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site commissioning, servicing, and repairs of Normets and Clients underground machinery
  • Modify and repair vehicle systems
  • Manufacture and fit electrical and mechanical components
  • Test and adjust all mechanical hydraulics, circuits, and pneumatic components
  • Find faults, repair, replace, and offer technical advice
  • Inspect, analyze, and record crucial mechanical information during refurbishment work
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and meets quality standards
