Some of these include electronic speed signs in tunnels, school zones, service stations, car parks, sporting arenas, railway stations and throughout Australian roads.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Technician to join our dynamic team.

As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality electronic components.

Your expertise in SMD soldering, debugging, and quality assurance will contribute to the success of our operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform SMD soldering and assembly of electronic components, ensuring precise and accurate workmanship.
  • Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of electronic systems, identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the production process.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production processes and optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and product specifications.
  • Utilize testing equipment and tools to perform functional tests and ensure the reliability of the manufactured products.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of production activities, test results, and any necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:


  • Technical qualification such as a degree or certification in electronics or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in SMD soldering, including the use of soldering irons, reflow irons, and related equipment.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and the ability to perform inspections and tests to ensure product reliability.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise soldering work.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and the ability to follow protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the electronics manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

$ $38.00 per hour
