- Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
- Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
- Interacting with clients in a professional manner
- Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles
- Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists
- Experience driving B-doubles
- MC class Licence
- Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems.
- Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential)
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience transporting chilled & frozen freight is highly respected
- Reliable and punctual with good communication skills
- A strong customer focus
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Provide a current traffic print out
- Be prepared to work nights & weekend with flexibility of start and finish times

Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs. Today we employ over 1800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.
The Role:
Lindsay Transport is currently seeking MC Linehaul Drivers to join the team at our Bundaberg depot.
Employed on a casual basis we require Driver's for the Bundaberg to Brisbane run.
Linehaul drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods from one location to another. This role demands a high level of skill, expertise and experience in operating a B-Doubles
