HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join the team as an
APS4 Level Parliamentary and Ministerial Support Officer (Labour Hire) on behalf of our client, located in
DEAKIN.
About the Role:
As the APS4 Level Parliamentary and Ministerial Support Officer (Labour Hire), you will play a crucial role within the Parliamentary and Ministerial Branch, managing the relationship between our client's office and the Minister's Office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the coordination of parliamentary processes, including our client's appearances at Senate Estimates, committee hearings, and Questions on Notice.
- Managing a shared mailbox, efficiently allocating tasks and ensuring timely responses.
- Coordinating and tracking Questions on Notice and Senate briefs using the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS).
- Drafting, coordinating, and qualitychecking Briefs, Ministerial Correspondence, Questions on Notice, and Senate Briefs utilising the PDMS.
- Contributing to the branch's corporate work program, reporting requirements, and assisting in delivering branch governance obligations.

About You:
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in providing operational and administrative support.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
- Sound knowledge of parliamentary processes and procedures.
- Capacity to work flexibly across both Parliamentary and Ministerial teams.
- Proven ability to coordinate, draft, and qualitycheck various documents using the PDMS.
