ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Junior HR Business Partner to join a global retail organisation to support our clients Australia and New Zealand operations.


Reporting to the HR Director, you will provide critical support to the local business leaders across corporate and field functions and ensure the delivery of effective HR strategies Reporting to the HR Director, you'll provide critical support to our local business leaders and ensure the delivery of effective HR strategies.


In this role, you'll partner closely with managers and teams to develop and execute local and regional people strategies that align with our overall business objectives.

You'll provide guidance and support on all aspects of HR, including recruitment, talent management, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration.

You'll help to identify and address employee development needs, and you'll work closely with our HR Operations team to ensure seamless execution of HR processes.


To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a skilled communicator and relationship-builder, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law in Australia & New Zealand.

You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and you'll be able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.


DUTIES

  • Partner with local business leaders and line managers to execute HR strategies
  • Support talent acquisition and workforce planning activities
  • Help identify learning and development needs and support training initiatives
  • Assist with performance management and employee relations
  • Review and maintain HR policies and work rules
  • Support HR administration and manage employee enquiries
  • Contribute to HR projects as required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a HR generalist or advisory / business partnering role
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in Australia and New Zealand
  • Experience working in retail
  • Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • A proactive and handson approach
  • Passion for retail industry and desire to contribute to a worldclass organization
