About the opportunity
***The Procurement Specialist plays a key support role for the Senior Manager Operations and Governance, and the Commercial team.

Key responsibilities for the role are:

  • Key point of contact for the commercial team to provide general contract and procurement management administration and support.
  • Supporting senior team members with analytical activities
  • Supporting contract administration activities and maintenance of various reporting registers (e.g., material contracts; key suppliers)
  • Management of the procurement requests to prioritise and action whilst supporting the commercial team throughout sourcing projects and contract management activities.
  • Support and advocacy of key strategic sourcing best practice processes, systems, and tools.
  • Maintaining knowledge of contemporary trends and developments in procurement and contract management.
  • Provide contract performance analysis reporting and supplier engagement reporting.
  • General procurement support and contract administration tasks to assist the Commercial team.
  • Claims and payment support working with finance to ensure timely payment together with meeting contractual obligations.

You can contribute through your:


  • Previous experience in procurement and contract management experience
  • ERP system experience
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and proven ability to establish positive communication channels across various levels of the organisation.
  • Strong numeracy, database and analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver project work on time and on budget.
