The Position

St John of God Subiaco Hospital is the oldest and biggest hospital in our group, having been established in 1898. With over 550 beds, it is one of Australia's most respected providers of health care services and an internationally renowned leader in clinical trials and research.
SJG Subiaco Hospital is also a leader in innovation and adoption of new technologies, including the implementation of robotic surgical devices and virtual reality imaging technology. Our hospital is located in the heart of Subiaco close to stylish cafes, boutiques and with easy access to the train station

A duty statement supports this position description. Both documents shall be considered at the time of appraisal or in any reviewThis role is on a Permanent Part Time basis, working 40 hours per fortnight.
A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care,
Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Client/Patient Services/Acute) or similar; or currently studying in a health related field at a tertiary level.
Demonstrate welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with mínimal supervision and ability to identify work priorities and plan to meet them.
Demonstrate effectiveness in working in a team environment.
Knowledge of principles of manual handling.
Knowledge of basic cleanliness and hygiene standards.
An understanding of and commitment to Quality Improvement.
