MedicalDirector is part of the Telstra Health group, Australia's largest e-Health company which provides software products, solutions, platforms and services across health, aged care and social services.


We're looking for a passionate Customer Success Manager to join the team and proactively manage a portfolio of customers to strengthen relationships, and maximise retention and renewals, positioning MedicalDirector as an industry leader and trusted partner.


A Typical Day Might Look Like:
Retention, renewals and customer experience

  • Build longterm relationships with customers by understanding their needs and aligning business resources, products, and services to solve critical pain points.
  • Achieve monthly renewal and retention targets and other KPI's as required.
  • Conduct proactive outbound calls (Pulse Checks) with existing accounts to build stronger relationships, maintain revenue and further revenue opportunities.
  • Manage inbound sales calls and direct to the correct internal stakeholders.
Customer growth and value expansion

  • Identify target customers and assess potential growth opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Maximise revenue via renewal uplift, product and service upsell and cross sell, and site expansion.
  • Lead the sales activities for assigned customers, coordinating own activities with those of the Business Development Managers and Practice Consultants supporting the region.
  • Develop and qualify leads using the BANT methodology and utilise the lead pass program as appropriate to grow customer value.
  • Ensure ongoing engagement with internal stakeholders to refine sales strategies to ensure alignment with the business and its expectations.
  • Prepare proposals, handle objections, negotiate and close opportunities to consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure effective handover and commencement of the onboarding process for customers.

Experience and Skills

  • Previous health / IT industry experience and knowledge highly desirable.
- >2 years Customer Success / Account Management experience preferable.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully achieve sales targets.
  • Proven sales experience in relationship building, prospecting, nurturing, building rapport, exploring needs, providing solutions, presenting, persuading, negotiating, and closing.
  • A passion for customer service and relationship management.
  • A positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
