About the role
You will play a pivotal role in implementing placement and stakeholder engagement strategies for all AE's Community Services Higher Education and VET programmes.
Reporting directly to the Industry Engagement Manager (IEM), this role involves sourcing, developing, and managing local industry partnerships to ensure high-quality field placement opportunities for AE students.
Key Accountabilities will include:

Local Industry Engagement & Partnership Development
- Source & secure local placement opportunities; collaborate with lecturers/trainers to ensure compliance of partnerships with ACWA requirements; Negotiate MOUs with partners; Collaborate with the IEM to execute engagement plans and regional strategy
Student-centric approach
- Proactively manage resolution of agent relationships matters; escalate studentrelated matters to Senior Lecturer; Collect, analyze and utilise feedback from agencies to enhance the processes of the students; Maintain industry relationships to assess the quality & effectiveness of student education.

Compliance
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that the Student Handbook is always uptodate and compliant; Ensure all placement vacancies are vetted by the Senior Lecturer
About you
- Proven successful experience in Business Development and/or stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in building industry partnerships.
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple demands.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
- Indepth understanding of community services or related sectors and placement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilising relevant technology and reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and to work as part of a team
