About the Role:


An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Consultant within the Northern Adelaide Rehabilitation Service.


As a Consultant / Staff Specialist you will contribute to the provision of high standard clinical services to patients of and referred to the Northern Adelaide Rehabilitation Service Rehabilitation physician consultation services provided to inpatient, ambulatory and outpatients of Riverland General Hospital (Berri) Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) and Wallaroo Hospital, Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN).

In this role you will contribute to teaching/training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and participate in research.


Services will be provided across NALHN and include visits, videoconferencing, and teleconferences to rural South Australia including Riverland General Hospital (RMCLHN) and Wallaroo Hospital (YNLHN).

To be eligible for this position you must have:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration in Rehabilitation Medicine; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers award.
