The City Spaces Team is looking for a skilled and experienced Community Services Worker - Bilingual to fill a vacant role.


You will be responsible for operating a busy local community centre, often working alone and providing a diverse range of recreational and social support services with particular focus on supporting Seniors and members of the City's Chinese speaking community.


You will have experience in a similar community service and program provision environment and awareness of sector service & support including CHSP/Support At Home Program 2023, My Aged Care, Healthy Ageing, Aged Care Quality Standards etc.

You will also have the ability to speak fluent Cantonese and/or Mandarin, with a competent level of reading and writing in Chinese.


The role is based at the Ron Williams Community Centre (Kepos St, Redfern), one of the City's nine community centres, but may also work across other facilities in the area and across the local government area on occasion.
