About this role

In this newly created role, you'll partner with various ACI Portfolios, the Ministry for Health, Local Health Districts, Hospitals, and healthcare professionals to work together on comprehensive evidence reviews.

As a key member of the newly established Clinical Innovation and Research Division, you'll be right at the center of innovative ideas and impactful research, contributing to the betterment of healthcare's future.


Reporting to the Director of the Evidence Directorate (Agency for Clinical Innovation), your role will be part of the Critical Intelligence Unit, which has recently become a part of the Clinical Innovation and Research Division.

The main goal of this unit is to provide valuable insights and support to senior leaders in NSW Health, to inform evidence-based decision making.

Your work will directly shape how decisions are made in healthcare, making a positive difference.


Crown Clerk 11/12, salary from $134,411 - $155,455 plus Super and annual leave loading

What you'll be doing

  • Lead a specialist team to develop, support and produce high quality, succinct evidence summaries for priority projects
  • Lead the provision of expert advice on critical appraisal and evidence synthesis and oversee and undertake the preparation of various documents including analytical reports, briefing papers, discussion papers, presentations reports, research papers, submissions, related correspondence and responses
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication and negotiation to meet project goals.
  • Collaborate with the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence for consistent and valid research methods.
  • Contribute to audit and feedback methods.
  • Implement industry best practices for accurate research synthesis and data management.
