Victoria University Polytechnic is seeking a highly experienced Administrative Coordinator to provide a high level of administrative support and advice within the College of Pathways and Dual Sector Operations.


About the role
The responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

  • Managing the administrative function of the College of Pathways and Dual Sector Operations and providing extensive support to staff within other areas of VU Polytechnic.
  • Developing, maintaining and improving administrative systems, procedures and administrative related projects, requiring a high degree of specialist knowledge.
  • Planning and scheduling work for assigned employees, providing guidance, direction and assisting in the training of new employees.
  • Providing high level specialist advice to administrative staff and Managers across Victoria University Polytechnic.

This is a full time position at a HEP 7, $90,891 - $98,385 classification plus superannuation working 36.75 hours per week. The position is located at our Footscray Nicholson Campus and is offered on a fixed term contract period until 17/07/2024.

  • Experience with managing staff and administrative services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
