We are looking for another petting zoo operator to join our team

are you a Strong, Young, friendly, Enthusiastic, Hard-working person with a love for animals and people ?? not afraid to get your hands and most of the times clothes dirty...

• Car License
• Confident driver able to drive an Automatic Landcruiser and tow a double horse float or transit van or happy to give it a go and learn
• MUST have a DCSI working with children clearance in place or be willing to get one
• Good solid References

- must be STRONG

i cannot express enough that this is an extremely physically demanding job so you must be strong and willing to correctly and safely move equipment in a productive manner.

- must be good with animals, children, the elderly and disabled any background experience is a bonus

• Must have amazing customer service skills and be able to represent the business in a professional and welcoming manner

i pride myself in ensuring ALL animals are ALWAYS relaxed, healthy happy, treated well and looked after i also pride myself in providing a non-judgmental, inclusive welcoming environment to ALL

• MUST be extremely reliable and have good time management and commitment skills

- the hours of this position can be all over the place
MOSTLY WEEKEND WORK all year round with during the week bookings during our busy periods.

• Our busy times are during Easter, all School holidays, September show week and Christmas

the work can be every single day during the busy time so must be flexible and available to commit to dates looking ahead
- its essential to me to find someone i know confidently will not let me down so rely on good workers to operate the bookings
- on occasions extra work will be given for example cleaning out animal enclosures, trailers, farm work and bottle feeding before and after bookings i try to provide this during the quiet times
- must show initiative
- must be able to take lead and work well in a team but also work well alone
- good problem-solving skills
- mature
- enthusiastic
