About the role


A multi-faceted role within South Australia's top tier hospitals, this is a fantastic opportunity to join The Queen Elizabeth Hospital as part of an innovative and dynamic team.

As the Anaesthesia Medical Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing the care of all patients requiring the services of the department of Anaesthesia in consultation with the responsible Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.

Stepping into a challenging role where you will manage a complex patient group with significant illnesses and multiple comorbidities, you will provide a professional clinical anaesthetic service to hospital patients.

You will actively contribute to continuous quality improvement in the interests of effective and efficient patient care, and to clinical teaching including participating in postgraduate training programme as directed and supervised by the clinical director and departmental consultant staff.

Essential Requirements:


  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
