ABOUT THE ROLE:


Summary of the role:

We are looking for a friendly professional person with strong admin and customer service experience to join our MCC located in our Outpatients Department.

This is a busy, dynamic and fast paced environment.

  • Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg.


  • Permanent Part Time

  • Week 1: Tue, Wed Thu 08:0016:30 and Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 08:0016:30.
  • Attend to patient flow within the Paediatric Perinatal Mental Health and Physio Clinics, processing referrals, scheduling appointments, billing, liaising with key stakeholders including external health services, and supporting the wider Outpatients Team.
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Previous administrative experience within health service desirable.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service.
  • Attention to detail, accurate data entry and well developed computer skills including Microsoft (Word and Excel).
  • Enthusiastic, motivated with a strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
