Turks are looking for a 0 - 1 year PQE Graduate Lawyer to join our General Insurance group in Brisbane, to work on a mixed practice of property-damage claims.

Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including:

working on a range of complex insurance litigation and insurance advice matters, across a mixed practice including personal injury and property damage files;

- develop skills in insurance law and litigation;
- have regular involvement and contact with clients;
- appear in various courts and tribunals including Magistrates, County and Supreme courts; and
- supervise and train junior lawyers as required.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will have:

an academic qualification in law, attaining or working towards a current QLD Practicing Certificate;

- experience working in a law firm, ideally in insurance litigation; and
- excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail.

In addition, you will:
- be an enthusiastic and personable lawyer who has a passion for client service;
- have the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, as well as autonomously; and
- have a desire for personal development.
