About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Ensuring operational excellence for the owned and operated vessels
Maximise efficiency of the vessels at sea and in port
Manage vessels' P&L
Demonstrate clear understanding of cargo husbandry
Clear understanding of fuel grades and ECA Zones.
Mange bunker requirements and planning for each voyage
Approve Hire Payments and Invoices
Point of Contact for financial controllers
Liaising with the Regional Manager for opportunities and issues on the voyages.
Liaise with fleet managers and technical managers for owned and timecharter vessels
Responsible for personal safety and safety of colleagues and stakeholders
Comply with the Global Safety Standards, Policies and Operating Procedures

About you:

- +5 years expereince in the dry bulk operations

Tertiary/Technical qualification related to Maritime industry in Operations or Logistics is beneficial
Bulk Sea going experience is highly desired but not essential
Strong reasoning and problemsolving skills
Mature and professional
Team Player
Strong Knowledge of commercial, technical, operational and legal aspects of the sector
Exceptional Communication Skills
Results orientated, with strong negotiation skills
