About the role

We have an exciting leadership opportunity based in a unique and modern clinical setting.

We're looking for an inspirational leader who has gained their experience leading large or multi-disciplined teams in a highly customer-focused environment to lead a great team delivering exceptional donor service.


We see this as a fantastic opportunity to deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors, while optimising efficiency and performance.

As the Liverpool Donor Centre's senior leader and with the support of your leadership team, you will inspire your team to achieve collection targets and meet key performance indicators in order to deliver Australia's supply of blood and blood products.

Parallel to this, you will lead by collaboration, direction and support for your team. Thriving on pace and adaptability, you will achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness with respect and empathy.


In this role, you'll also have the organisational savvy and business acumen to navigate and manage complex issues, while developing constructive relationships to deliver business outcomes.

You'll be adept at using key financial indicators and metrics to guide decision making.

Demonstrated experience managing medium
- or large-sized teams in a structured environment

Strong people leadership skills, using human-centric and empathetic management approaches

Motivation to lead and inspire a team to reach shared goals and key performance indicators

A passion for coaching people, developing skills within your team members and identifying talent

Positive nature, with the ability to empathise with donors and team members

Strong Excel knowledge, with the ability to dissect and interpret data accordingly

Highly committed to safety and quality
