About the Role


As the Strategy and Insights Manager will be passionate and adept at using data and analytics to identify performance improvement opportunities, develop solutions and provide the governance/project management to embed the initiatives in our homes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to business partner with the business, working across all functions to enable the realisation of the performance improvement initiatives.

Duties

  • Diagnose complex business problems to identify the root cause.
  • Develop action/project plans to solve complex business problems.
  • Own the project management and governance of performance improvement initiatives to drive outcomes, partnering with various business stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop detailed analysis that will direct data analysis with detailed analysis of alternative courses of action, identifying potential implications.
  • Provide detailed analysis, interpretation and evaluation of data to support broader Bupa Teams to roll out initiatives that are supportive of overall performance improvement strategies.
  • Design, build and maintain innovative benchmarking tools to identify opportunities to improvement operational performance.
  • Develop, monitor and report on key measures of initiative & project success across financial and nonfinancial indicators.
  • Work alongside the centralised market unit data teams to design, build and deploy the new suite of reporting.
  • Work alongside centralised market unit data engineers and data scientists to identify and build the data warehouse and data models that will drive the suite of reporting, becoming the SME for Bupa Aged Care.

Skills & Experience

  • Graduate qualifications in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years PQE in a management consulting firm or Big 4 accounting firms preferred.
  • Highly analytical mindset with an ability to transform the numbers into actions essential.
  • Applicable business or health related memberships preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex business opportunities to both senior leadership and a grass roots audience.
  • Strong problemsolving capability, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve core issues.
  • A high level of financial and commercial acumen, with a record of identifying opportunities and implementing sustained improvement initiatives.
  • Very strong project and change management capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to role model the Bupa values at all times.
