Varied role to suit a generalist in a small agile team

This newly created role is to support the CFO with Legal and Contracts primarily.

This roles offers a great opportunity to an existing commercial manger or a legal counsel, or contracts specialists looking to move into Commercial Management.

Working as an interface between operations and corporate you will:

Support the CFO in ensuring commercial business objectives are met.
Oversee the commercial delivery of mining contracts.
Ensure current and future projects are profitable.
Carry out commercial compliance reviews.
Liaise with various internal stakeholders with regards to commercial management.
Partner with finance team to deliver accurate financial reports.
Play a senior role in the business and be a broad contributor.

Required skills and experience:

Experience as a Legal and contracts specialist.
Experience in contract formation, preferably in a construction. management environmen.t
Experience om the negotiation, establishment and delivery of long term contracts.
Demonstrated understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements as they relate to commercial contracts.
The ability to design and implement policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Law, Accounting or Commerce.
Qualifications in Company Secretary or Corporate Governance will be highly regarded.

This role is being offered as a hybrid working model based out of Brisbane CBD. Some travel to site will be required which is situated at a remote North QLD location.
