The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Analyst with experience across level 1 IT support. This is a full time, permanent role based in our Sydney office.

The Infrastructure Services team


The Clayton Utz Infrastructure Services team is dynamic, diverse and cutting-edge, providing a full-spectrum of innovative technology solutions across our nation-wide offices.

We utilise a range of technologies to facilitate smooth and efficient IT services across all areas of our business.

You will receive an opportunity to engage and learn from a number of teams within Infrastructure Services including Infrastructure Support, Information Specialist, Standard Operating Environment, Business Systems, Technical Infrastructure Services, Development, Communications and Security.

Key responsibilities


As part of a team of 7 IT Support Analysts you will have a breadth of IT technical knowledge and skills to liaise with internal customers over the phone and face to face.

Your focus will be to trouble shoot and problem solve level 1 IT related issues and escalate to level 2 and 3 when required.

You will work with SLAs and be flexible with your working hours on a rotational roster and some weekends as required.

Skills & Experience


To be successful in this role, you will have 1 to 2 years' experience in level 1 IT support providing outstanding customer service delivery to internal customers.

Your articulate and clear verbal and written communication skills, IT problem solving skills, attention to detail and friendly persona with customers will see you succeed.


The below skills and experience are highly regarded:

  • The ability to identify issues that need to be escalated to level 2 and 3 support
  • Experience with Windows 7/10, Outlook 2010/2016, and desktop virtualisation familiarity
  • Familiarity with document management systems (e.g. Worksite and printing support)
  • Experience supporting Remote Access, A/V, Tablet and iPhone queries
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with strong phone etiquette
  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction and working to SLAs
  • Previous experience in professional services would be highly regarded
