Description
Administration assisstant required for Occupational Therapy Practice specialising in hand and upper limb rehabilitation. Experience in medical or health care centre valued highly, and experience with computers would make you a strong canidate.

The following attributes would be some examples of what is expected in the role:


  • Reception duties and responding to enquiries as appropriate, consistent with the acquired knowledge of our organisation's operations and services,
  • Operation of computer, printing devices and scanner attached to personal computer,
  • Word processing, e.g. the use of a word processing software package to create, format, edit, correct, print and save text documents, e.g. standard correspondence and business documents
  • Maintenance of records and/or journals including initial processing and recording relating to the following:
  • Reconciliation of accounts to balance
  • Incoming/outgoing invoices and accounts
  • Invoices
  • Debit/credit items
  • Payroll data
  • Petty cash imprest system
  • Letters etc
  • Create new files and records
  • Spreadsheet/worksheet
  • Graphics
  • Accounting/payroll file
  • Following standard procedures and using existing models/fields of information.
  • Arrange routine travel bookings and itineraries, make appointments
  • Provide general advice and information on the organisation's products and services, e.g. front counter/telephone
  • Use known routines and procedures
  • Have some accountability for quality of outcomes
  • Receive calls
  • Enter and retrieve data
  • Work in a team
  • Manage own work under guidance and work independently with set tasks

Attention to detail is important to esure accuracy of data entry

Administrative Duties:

  • Scheduling
  • Running errands
  • Sorting and sending mail
  • Answering and routing phone calls
  • Greeting visitors

Financial Duties:

  • Processing expense reports
  • Processing payments
  • Billing

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 15 per week


Salary:
$ $26.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:


  • Administration : 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
