As a Quality & Compliance Manager, you will provide specialist safety, quality and compliance support to a variety of stakeholders across the Freight Operations.

You'll be based in our Freight Terminal but managing a portfolio across the country.

This role will see you provide strategic advice on regulatory change and compliance and be responsible for oversight of the domestic, international and regional freight terminals within a specific portfolio in all aspects of compliance, quality control and standards.

You'll have

  • Experience within a quality, compliance or safety role
  • Relevant tertiary or professional qualifications in a relevant field
  • Previous experience working with operational teams within Freight or Logistics industries
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and empower a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to identify stakeholder needs and resolve essential issues across a number of ports
  • Work collaboratively in a team to ensure consistency across the businesses and ports
  • Ability to meet corporate and divisional/departmental service standards
  • Ability to comply with workplace safety legislation, company requirements and practices
  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic thinker to critically appraise and oversee the maintenance and ongoing improvement of quality management systems
  • A personal drive for continuous quality improvements in the Freight business.
