Your part in Buderim Private Hospital

Support with customer and patient enquiries via online Message Centre, phone and via front desk
Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate areas of the hospital including communication requests for staff and doctors within the hospital.
Complete patient admissions and preadmissions face to face and online
Prepare patient medical records for next day admissions.
Complete patient health fund checks and verifications
Complete chart filing to assist the medical records team.
Complete data entry to support other departments of the hospital.
Assist hospital wards with bed transfers and in ensuring discharges are processed efficiently
Other administration duties or coverage to assist the Patient Administration team

What makes a difference for us?

Previous Medical Receptionist experience (Highly Desirable)
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds
Adaptability to changing priorities, with the ability to shift focus day to day
Excellent timemanagement skills, with the ability to independently prioritise your workload
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your day to day work
An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support as required
