Eldercare has an exciting opportunity for experienced Hospitality Assistants to join the team at Eldercare Sash Ferguson located in Mount Barker.

We have both permanent and casual opportunities available.


As a Hospitality Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of our kitchen, cleaning and laundry departments.

Such variety means you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and become trained in multiple areas.


About the role

  • Located at our Mount Barker site
  • Permanent part time opportunity with day shifts available
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts on a casual basis
  • A varied role that provides the opportunity to work across multiple departments

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of contemporary housekeeping/cleaning practices
  • Professional presentation
  • Flexibility with shifts (to cover team mates when they are sick or on leave)
  • A current Food Handling Certificate is desirable
  • Previous work in Aged Care or healthcare would be looked upon favorably

  • To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue._

- _Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year _
- _Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines_
