    Description

    Take on a pivotal role in this exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and commercially astute Business Development Manager, focusing on regional growth and establishing meaningful connections with customers and their brokers.


    • Undertake a rewarding challenge in carefully selecting and establishing the commercial broker network

    • Support your broker network to drive and contribute to the regional growth strategy of the commercial portfolio based in Brisbane and the surrounds

    • An attractive opportunity with flexible, hybrid working conditions available to the right candidate

    YOU | You will be an expert in sourcing and cultivating long term, credible relationships within the community, industry, and with referral partners. Facilitate positive customer experiences and outcomes, showcasing high levels of professionalism within the commercial banking community. You will be able to navigate the opportunities and challenges facing Australian businesses be well-versed in business development. Ideally, you will also possess:


    • Experience in commerce, finance, or banking (including lending and credit), preferably in a commercial or agribusiness setting

    • Extensive knowledge of the Commercial/ SME lending market and in depth understanding of the needs and attitudes of Australian business customers

    • Proven leadership, coaching, and people management skills which will allow you to facilitate continuous broker education

    • Ability to network effectively and maintain professional working relationships with a range of stakeholders

    • Acknowledgment of regular intra-state and occasional interstate travel required

    THE ROLE | Utilize your exemplary networking abilities and good standing in the commercial/ SME banking community to develop and deliver win-win solutions meeting your client's needs, objectives, and interests. Increase market share and contribute to the successful delivery of key initiatives, working with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally. Act as a conduit between the two to ensure the success of the commercial broker specialization.
