About the role


The CRO specialist role is responsible for managing the implementation of a formal CRO program for our two core brands, Neds & Ladbrokes.

Working in tandem with our Search and Digital Media teams, the job calls for data collection and analysis to understand customer needs and build logical test parameters.


Inherent to this process will be the ability to blend a range of available quantitative and qualitative datasets to understand both the what and the why behind our key journeys, crafting succinct insights to guide the ongoing improvement of our sites and apps.


Good Stakeholder Management will be key to this role as you will be working with marketers, developers, product teams and designers.

Your ability to create a common dialogue across various disciplines is critical to launching new customer experiences.


Led by the Head of Search, this newly created role will be supported by the Search Team who are able to create the ideal experiences you unearth for the customer.

What will you do

  • Responsible for managing the implementation of a formal CRO program for our two core brands, Neds & Ladbrokes o achieve overall business and product goals.
  • Identify and prioritise optimisation opportunities through diagnosis and exploration, identifying key pages of the customer experience.
  • Execute plans informed by the collection and analysis of quality data.
  • Clearly communicate with the owners of traffic funnels, to determine their requirements.
  • Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to get new customer experiences on the road map.
  • Work with the UI/UX Team in proposing and collaborating on new designs.
  • Effectively communicate with business stakeholders to prioritise test opportunities and facilitate share outcomes.

Who we're looking for

  • Demonstrated proven experience in a CRO role or similar.
  • You have the ability to produce sound testing parameters.
  • You will have a knack for translating technical terms into easytounderstand language.
  • You are datadriven and your accuracy in reporting is second to none.
  • You have HTML/CSS/JS literacy.
  • Someone with a designer's mindset.
  • You are a collaborative and supportive team player.
  • Experience working closely alongside, digital marketing specialists, designers, developers and product owners.

Tools we use
Google Analytics, Unbounce, Hot Jar, Google Optimize (or similar), Amplitude, Full Story. Platform selection will be based on your own preferences, but proficiency is required.


Bonus Points if you have

  • Experience using WordPress as a platform for landing pages.
  • Sports and Racing knowledge
