Summery -


The Stock Controller will be responsible for controlling the inward and outward flow of our clients products as well as maintaining a stock control system that provides accurate information regarding current stock holding and future orders.


Responsibilities -

  • Maintain inwards stock to the branch from the wharf or another facility around Australia.
  • Produce goods received advices (GRV's) for all attachments and update daily report to show serial number.
  • Maintain stock level within the branch to ensure the facility has adequate numbers in stock according to the relevant sales numbers and Kan Ban system for allocations. (Work with Sales managers)
  • Ensure PDI folders are prepared for the Workshop team having the latest in documentation from the forms network.
  • Provide accurate PDI allocations for scheduling to the workshop and weekly PDI meetings, all allocation changes are to be recorded daily via instructions provided by the National Stock Controller.
  • Provide accurate PDI allocation for all nonordered stock to ensure the Kan Ban system is full at all times. (Stock units)
  • Supply the workshop with folders and accurate allocations via the slot system, all allocation changes will be reflected in the slot system and daily report.
  • Maintain a daily working relationship with the sales managers to ensure stock control is fully aware of Sales delivery needs and requirements.
  • Meet with the workshop supervisor and ensure parts available on a daily basis so the daily report can be updated and returned to Brisbane for processing.
  • Update the information from the supervisor so the daily report can be updated. (Completed PDI's, parts missing, ready for dispatch etc)
  • Manage all transport companies and facility needs including sales & service.
  • Liaise with Sales team for efficient customer order allocation, scheduling and order delivery.
  • Work with the finance/GBS/sales departments to ensure all ready stock has finance approval.
  • Control the dispatch process working with the finance/GBS departments and workshop.
  • Ensure all dispatch advices are completed and saved.
  • Ensure the customer's order is correct and complete at the delivery stage. (Options and attachments)
  • Carry out monthly machine stocktakes.
  • Assist with monthly parts stocktake coordination.
  • Conduct administrative tasks as required for the branch

Qualifications -

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or similar would be highly regarded.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Forklift License advantageous.
  • High Risk License advantageous.
  • First Aid Certificate advantageous.

Experience -

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment would be an advantage.
  • Previous Logistics experience would be advantageous.

Skills -

  • Confident written and oral communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to take direction.
  • The ability to prioritise deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
**Sage Evolution experience advantageous.
