CENTRE MANAGER - SOUTH EAST METRO


We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our Home Care Services team for one-year secondment opportunity.


The Home Care Services Centre Manager oversees the day-to-day management of the center, ensuring smooth operations for all programs delivered on-site.

This includes providing support to staff in fulfilling their roles, conducting initial investigations into incidents, and handling feedback and complaints from both staff and clients.


The role also entails being the first point of contact for all stakeholders reaching out to the site, facilitating staff recruitment and orientation, and spearheading the implementation of improvement initiatives and processes aimed at enhancing staff utilization and retention.

This position plays a crucial role in optimizing service delivery within the designated service area.


What you bring**:


  • Operations management skills.
  • Experience in rostering, care coordination and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written, including report writing.
  • Ability to build a responsive and motivated team to deliver excellent care.
  • Experience in communicating with diverse cultural groups.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of budget management and effective use of resources.
  • High level problem solving, investigative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify workforce development needs and support individual and team performance.
  • Strong IT skills including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of CHSP, HACC PYP, NDIS guidelines and My Aged Care would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar or Team Leader role in the aged, home care and/or community services sector.
