Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the Best Care Governance and Support Division in the role of a Best Care Coordinator.

This is a fixed term part-time maternity leave cover position until 2 April 2025.

The Best Care Coordinator works collaboratively with senior managers, clinical and non-clinical staff, and consumers to support an effective, co-ordinated, organisation-wide approach to quality system development and implementation.

The primary focus of this work can be summarised under the following headings:

Patient Safety
Patient Feedback
Quality system capability
NSQHS and other designated Standard support
Clinical practice improvement

The Best Care Coordinator plays a role in ensuring that Western Health's approach to quality improvement remains contemporary, focused and based on the best available evidence.

Experience and success in a similar role working in the field of Womens and Children (Desirable)
Report writing skills
Strong leadership and proven ability leading a team
Excellent organisational skills
Welldeveloped interpersonal skills and highlevel communication skills with a collaborative and consultative approach
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to high quality, personcentred, coordinated, right and safe patient care
