About the CNED


The Clinical Nursing Education Department provides Austin Health with contemporary, evidence-based clinical education programs which are congruent with organisational strategic plans and needs.

Clinical education is delivered by the Nursing Education team, predominantly through an inter-professional, collaborative and person-centered approach which encompasses all available and appropriate teaching and learning methodologies.


About the role
A three day a week Clinical Nurse Educator position located in ward 5West.& VRSS.


Ward 5 West is a 28 bed unit which encompasses Respiratory Medicine, VRSS (state wide home ventilation service), Sleep Laboratory (2 Beds), Ventilation Weaning Unit and Respiratory High Dependency Unit (HDU).? The ward supports the medical, nursing allied health management of patients with acute / chronic respiratory disease and the weaning of patients from intensive care units on invasive ventilation.


A regular day will see you:


  • Supporting learners to deliver quality care to complex HDU patients:
