Executive Director, Corporate Services & Compliance:

HumanAbility has been established by a consortium of employee and employer organisation's, led by the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association, to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders to provide strategic leadership in addressing provide strategic leadership in addressing skills and workforce challenges.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Executive Director Corporate Services & Compliance will be responsible for ensuring that HumanAbility has the systems, processes and people skills to provide high quality advice and services to government and industry stakeholders and the formal structures within the VET system.


This leadership role includes the continued development of a highly skilled diverse team to deliver the organisation's works program and key performance indicators under its contract and business plan.

The Executive Director will also act as Company Secretary, playing a key role in organisational governance with the Board of Directors.

- **:The Person:

Key attributes and experience the Executive Director will need to able to demonstrate are:

  • Senior executive experience in managing Corporate Services function in a medium sized, outcome focused organisation. Prior health, human services, or similar experience would be advantageous.
  • Qualification and/or experience as a Company Secretary and relevant graduate and post graduate tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • An extensive record of experience and achievement in the governance and management at the executive level.
  • High level experience in in managing shared corporate services.
  • A history in people leadership and management that values and empowers each employee.
  • Demonstrated experience in the fiscal management of a multidisciplined organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality improvement systems that reflect a personal commitment to safety, learning, improvement, and innovation.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety and related strategy.
  • Knowledge and experience in strategic planning and culture management throughout constant change.
