Maintenance Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team.


Role Overview:


As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 maintenance staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Your primary focus will be on developing a robust maintenance structure and implementing a preventive maintenance plan (PPM) to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Additionally, you will play a key role in improving reliability and enhancing our scheduled maintenance plan.


Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Maintenance Manager you will lead and manage a team of 5 maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • This Maintenance Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance structure, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance protocols.
  • The role as Maintenance Manager will involve creating and executing a preventive maintenance plan (PPM) to proactively address equipment issues and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • This role as Maintenance Fitter will involve collaborating with crossfunctional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • As the Maintenance Manager, you will conduct regular inspections and audits to assess equipment condition and identify potential maintenance needs.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities, ensuring mínimal disruption to production schedules.
  • The Maintenance Manager will monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory management.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans (PPM).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
