One of the many services that we are very proud to provide for the community is our Outside School Hours Care Service with more than 50 services across Queensland.


We are currently recruiting for a
Coordinator on a
Full-Time basis to join our team at our
The YMCA Windsor Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service.



Your workspace at the Y

YMCA Windsor Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service is Located inside Windsor State School. The service is licenced for 139 children and offers before and after school care as well as vacation care services.

Our educators are dedicated professionals who bring a range of unique skills to share with our families, community and children to assist with implementing spontaneous and directed play and learning experiences.

As an OSHC Coordinator you will assist with:

  • The development of quality programs;
  • Manage the day to day running of the programs;
  • Coordinate staffing and rostering of staff;
  • Ensure compliance with policy;
  • Undertake administrative requirements;
  • Work collaboratively with families and the school community

SELECTION CRITERIA:


  • Completed (or close to completion) of relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Minimum of Diploma in Children Services);
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare;
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain;
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
  • NQF knowledge would be advantageous.
