- Manage a range of investigator-driven and commercial clinical trials focused on MS within our Clinical Trials Unit.
- Prepare and submit local ethics and governance reviews and maintain investigator site files.
- Coordinate participant assessments according to trial protocols, including ECGs, phlebotomy, and cognitive assessments.
- Supervise casual staff, ensuring adequate training and compliance.
- Maintain accurate trial records, manage invoicing and contracts for Griffith University's site.
- Coordinate meetings and provide oversight within the PLATYPUS Consortium.
- Ensure trials adhere to international clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or a related health field.
- Experience in coordinating clinical trials is essential.
- Knowledge of research or clinical trial governance would be an advantage.
- Experience in multiple sclerosis research would be an advantage.

Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Griffith University's School of Medicine and Dentistry and Clinical Trials Unit as a Clinical Trial Manager for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In this role, you will contribute to the successful delivery of clinical trials within the PLATYPUS Collaboration under the guidance of Professor Simon Broadley.
As the Clinical Trial Manager, you will:
This is a fixed term (5 years), full time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Senior Research Assistant, Grade 2 range $108,301 - $112,361 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $126,712 - $131,462 per annum.
