As the Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the State office, which will include support to both Aged Care and NDIS services.


Responsibilities include managing general office duties, such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and organising documents, and assisting with client intake, scheduling, and documentation related to Aged Care and NDIS services.

The position is a full-time (38hr/wk), 12-month traineeship contract.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the State office, such as preparing invoices,
arranging mail-outs, and preparing client data, as required.

  • Assist with client intake processes, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation for Aged Care and NDIS services.
  • Maintain client data by way of data entry and digitising documents for electronic storage.
  • Assist coordinators in communicating with clients, caregivers, and service providers to coordinate appointments and services effectively.
  • Stay updated on relevant policies, guidelines, and changes in Aged Care and NDIS services to ensure compliance and efficiency in administrative processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate effective communication and coordination of tasks related to Aged Care and NDIS services.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a clientcentric approach to highquality care.
  • Demonstrated evidence of organisational skills, including the ability to manage and coordinate a range of tasks and competing priorities, with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated evidence to work collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners towards the development of shared projects, initiatives, and activities.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to use initiative, problem solve, and be able to manage and adapt to change.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, development, and reflective practice.
  • Evidence of good administration skills, including strong use of Officer 365 and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and platforms.
  • Willingness to undertake National Police Check prior to commencement
  • Willingness to obtain WWCC and NDIS Worker Clearance prior to commencement

SALARY
$26,000 - $40,000 plus 11% Superannuation

  • National Training Wage Award
  • Fully Funded Qualification
