Your part in the ongoing success of our business in supporting key frontline services in the IT Support directorate will see you responsible for a variety of work.


Key Accountabilities will include:


  • Lead the development, implementation and management of systems and processes which enable enhanced project and procurement forecasting and management of workload for the team, including appropriate resource allocation and sourcing. Lead the analysis of procurement patterns, performance and key supply markets through the evaluation of purchasing arrangements, systems and practices including providing specialist advice to internal and external clients. Implement capability and systematic improvements and changes that drive value improvements, efficiency and competency in contemporary, valuable and real vendor and contract management practice. Maintain and manage software licencing compliance and cost optimisation (Software Asset Management). Build and maintain a strong relationship with the Procurement Services Group (PSG) to assist in the development of a strategic approach to Vendor and Contract Management, including procurement planning and benefits reporting. Prepare high level policy papers, submissions, briefs, and reports on complex procurement andcontract related issues and initiatives within F&DS.
