Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Support the development and maintenance of the academic timetable and the provision of teaching space to ensure space allocations are aligned with the university's pedagogical delivery and policy.
  • Contribute feedback and suggestions and identify situations in which change is needed to improve policy and practice.
  • Collect and analyse information and data from a variety of appropriate sources to solve work problems.
  • Provide basic advice to clients that addresses underlying timetabling questions or concerns, and make appropriate referrals to other areas of the University as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions to timetable problems based on stakeholder needs, including those related to data collection, scheduling, and student allocation, and their associated systems and processes.

To be successful, you'll have:


  • A Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Experience and broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience in using timetabling systems within a university environment, or experience maintaining a complex database.
  • Demonstrated data literacy and proficiency in MS Excel.
