Seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a leading VIC State Gov Dept in Melbourne CBD. 2-month assignment with potential to extend. $ $50.90 per hour + super.

About the Role

Contribute to processing a high volume of financial transactions for the ISP, ensuring compliance with legislative responsibilities.
Support the team in meeting refund, account reconciliation, and audit acquittal requirements.
Establish, maintain, and enhance team refund and reconciliation processes and policies.
Monitor teamwork volumes and workflows to ensure responsive, consistent, timely, and compliant processing of all financial transactions.
Reconcile the suspense account and other related accounts.
Identify and address discrepancies between IED's VISIT financial system and Oracle.
Develop and coordinate the preparation of procedures, policies, and reporting.

Weekly pay

About You

35 years reconciliation experience with Oracle.
Strong understanding of financial transactions and operations.
Ability to rapidly assess and reconcile large volumes of transactions.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Proven ability to work independently and take a pragmatic approach to problemsolving.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
