Working closely with the Manager Quality-Residential Services, other Advisors, members of the Business Improvement team, and all areas of the business, you will instill the principles of continuous improvement and risk management throughout the organisation, to ensure responsive systems and processes and contribute to a safe work environment and positive outcomes for consumers.


The Quality Advisor is a key leadership role responsible for the ongoing development and evaluation of all components of the quality and risk management system with key responsibilities and accountabilities to a portfolio of residential sites and home care services.

The role also provides support and assistance to mecwacare's other service/program areas as required. This is a three-year contract with opportunity for extension.


What you bring:


  • A formalised qualification and/or a minimum of two years experience in quality/ risk management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality and risk management principles, frameworks and methodology.
  • Knowledge and experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of systems, processes, policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Software, and client management systems (eCase or Telstra Health).
  • Current Victorian Driver's License.
Experience working with a regulator in the aged, community and/or disability sectors is highly regarded.
