Colbrow Care provides premium support services for older Australians receiving Aged Care at home, children and adults who have physical, sensory and/or intellectual disabilities, as well as children and adults injured in road traffic accidents and adults injured in the workplace.


For many Australians living with a disability, reduced mobility and/or cognition, in-home care and support allows them to live comfortably in their own home and actively participate within their community.

ABOUT THE ROLE


This is a casual role based in and around The Eastern, Southern & Northern regions of Victoria; All services will be based in the Community and are likely to be 2-3 hours in length (per service) so a reliable mode of transport is essential.


You will be responsible for the delivery of personalised support services that enhance your clients' independence, social and community participation and helps them achieve their goals in accordance with their care plans.

You will support each client to maintain their independence and dignity by providing assistance with activities of daily living such as:

  • _ Personal care_
- _ Social Support_
- _ Meal Preparation _
- _Support with exercise _
- _Community Access _
- _Transport_
- _ Medication Monitoring_
- _ Domestic Assistance_
- _


ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have
AND/OR be willing to obtain the following:

  • _ Certificate III/IV in Community Care, Individual Support or Disability _
- _Proven experience in this or a similar role/field _
- _Current Working with Children's Check_
- _ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Police Check) _
- _First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)_
- _ Mandatory competencies (as required by Colbrow Care)_
- _ Valid working rights in Australia_
