Description

As a Service Coordinator within our Home Health platform, you will lead a team of Care Workers to deliver high quality and safe person-centred care to our customers in their homes.


You will support the wellbeing of your team by fostering a connection to our purpose, which ensures our customers receive services in line with their health plan that supports their goals and achieves beneficial health outcomes.


To be successful in this role you will enjoy building positive and effective relationships with your team, be proactive and highly proficient in prioritising and able to balance competing demands with sound decision making.

This role is based in the
Newcastle & Lake Macquarie area with our Branch located at Warners Bay NSW.


Key accountabilities:


  • Drive engagement & collaboration with regular team meetings, individual check ins and the use of collaboration tools such as MS Teams.
  • Conduct Recruitment activities and Onboarding of new Care Workers.
  • Coach and develop your team via formal and informal methods with a focus on monitoring performance, understanding skills and identifying areas to develop & grow.
  • People management including leave requests, staff availability, competency training & assessments as well as people management.
  • Manage escalations and resolution of incidents and complaints.
  • Drive process efficiencies by using the digital systems available to automate where required and becoming proficient to manage employee matters & requests.
  • Build internal relationships with key stakeholders such as our Schedulers and Customer Service teams, to meet both customer and care worker needs.

Does this sound like you?

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of cultivating highperforming and engaged teams experience managing remote teams is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience coaching and developing teams both in formal and informal settings.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to drive your business outcomes.
  • Ability to build rapport & present your ideas to both small and large groups with confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage your time effectively, prioritise & make sound decisions and tech savvy is a must
  • COVID19 vaccinated including 2 doses (Booster is optional)
