Our WHS role comes with a difference and will see you working with our host employers across many different industries to ensure the Health and Safety of our employees, apprentices and trainees.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the WHS policies, procedures, and programs.

You will work closely with our clients conducting regular safety inspections and make necessary assessments to prevent injury and ensure compliance.


As part of the operations team, you will work closely with our field officers, sales team and administration to provide safety leadership and manage our WHS system.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our cohort and to ensure we support them and their host employers throughout their journey with us.


We see this role as:


  • Implementing and assisting with further development of the WHS management system to ensure it continues to meet all legal and industry standards
  • Leading the implementation of safety programs and procedures to prevent injury, illness, and accidents in the workplace
  • Leading investigations into workplace accidents, incidents and near misses and assist in the implementation of corrective actions
  • Manage the consultation during investigations between all relevant stakeholders pertaining to the review
  • Managing Return to Work programs for injured or ill workers
  • Stay informed of changes to relevant legislation and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant
  • Consult with executive management on current position and recommendations for improvement or maintenance of WHS strategies
  • Schedule and deliver WHS & compliance training to managers and employees
  • Define and set target while monitoring actual performance in relation to WHS statistics

We're interested in hearing from people who can

  • Provide a minimum 3 years practical experience in a similar role or industry
  • Hold current qualifications in Work, Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • Consideration will be given to people holding qualifications in HR or a trade background
  • Possess strong ethics, communication, and able to engage and relate to a diverse range of people
  • Ability to positively influence and present a strong safety culture
  • Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • A trade background or strong knowledge in trades is advantageous
  • Hold a current NSW drivers licence with a good driving record
  • Willing to obtain an uptodate Working with Children's check
