About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality Genomics care to clients of St Vincent's Clinical Genomics.
The successful applicant is expected to interact with a wide range of professionals from different disciplines and backgrounds and will play a significant role in many challenging tasks, including dealing with highly sensitive information, interdisciplinary clinic coordination, billing, and genomics database management, as well as interfacing with genomics research staff both internally and externally.
The Administrative Officer will contribute to collecting accurate health care information, arranging and coordinating clinical appointments, data entry and maintenance, billing management, maintaining accurate documentation, and other administrative tasks.
The role will be based in the Clinical Genomics and will require a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal, to compassionately interact with patients, their carers/families, as well as other health professionals both on campus and externally and in accordance with the Hospital's Values and expectations.
