We are looking for a Junior Intake Officer with the passion, drive & commitment to build their career at AHP


About the role

  • Supporting participants with their journey navigating Allied Health Services in the Disability, HCP, CHSP and Medicare sectors
  • Being a first point of contact for participants and families seeking access to services
  • Working in partnership with the participant to understand their needs and expectations
  • Processing NDIS Referrals
  • Matching services with participant care needs
  • Network with Participants and community organisations who work with people with a disability, illness or injury, to explain our services
  • Managing and completing Service Agreements against participant requirements
  • Managing and prioritising tasks to be completed at a timely manner

About you

  • You are empathetic and passionate about working with a vulnerable community
  • High energy and a great work ethic
  • You are customer focused with a dedication to providing excellence in service
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administration focused role
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Great customer service attitude
  • Ability to take initiative and work within a supportive team environment
  • Experience in the Healthcare or Disability sector is beneficial
