Fixed Term, part time appointment (12 months, 3 days per week 0.6FTE)

  • Level 5: $73,508 $83,130 (prorata) + 17% Superannuation


The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child is the world's first research centre dedicated to creating positive digital childhoods for all Australian children.

The University of Wollongong is home to the Centre's NSW node, its Deputy Director and one of the Centre's living labs (the UOW Children's Technology Play Space).

The Business Support Officer supports and contributes to the business, research and translation activity of the UOW Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child


Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to effective operations, managing teams, schedules, communications, spaces, projects and liaison within and amongst the UOW Node investigators, Centre partners, the QUT hub, public and media.
  • Being the first point of contact, leading, managing and triaging communications
  • Contributing to the operation of UOW's Children's Technology Play Space.
  • Providing administrative support to the Deputy Director and UOW node representative


This role will be supported by and liaise with faculty and central university professional supports and infrastructure, as well as support offered by the Centre's Hub located at QUT.
