The Company:


With its' commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service and strong partnerships, this local council is looking for multiple customer service professionals to assist with their busy period over the next three months.

Multiple opportunities are now available within this experienced and supportive team of customer service professionals


Your Role:


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for external and internal customers
  • Provide friendly, responsive, accurate and consistent information, advice and service to customers via the contact centre
  • Face to face customer service that also may require weekly stalls on a Saturday
  • Attend 2hour pop up stalls during the week
  • Handling all manner of enquiries
  • Resolving customer issues
  • Updating the database records

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Superior Customer Service skills and demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high volume environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across multiple functions within a customer service team, with ability to achieve quality standards and a commitment to first contact resolution
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective problem solving skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Proven ability to effectively use multiple computer programs to provide accurate, consistent and complete information or solutions to customers
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
