Position overview


The Student Development Officer, ANU+ is a member of the Engagement and Success team, they work closely with team members on projects and events designed to enhance students' capacity, support their personal development and enrich their student experience, success and employability.

The role is responsible for coordinating and implementing the ANU+ Award, which is the University's co-curricular volunteering recognition program.

The role also contributes to the evaluation of programs/projects; promotes the broader team's activities; engages with stakeholders; and, as needed, trains and supervises student volunteers and student casuals.


A key aspect of this role in 2023 will be promoting and engaging students in volunteering opportunities within the ANU Community and wider community through a commitment to active citizenship through action, reflection and capacity building through the ANU+ Award.
