About the role

The successful candidate will be an inclusive leader, with a focus on people safety and regulatory compliance, and who can foster a high performing culture. The Feedlot Manager has full responsibilities for the site operations together with responsibilities as a critical leader within our Northern Operations Grain-fed business.

Main Responsibilities

• Providing leadership across a diverse team encouraging an inclusive, safe, and productive team environment
• Completing site operational and financial management
• Overseeing the effective implementation and coordination of the Feeding and Milling, Animal Health and Induction, Maintenance and Manure, and the quality, safety and administration teams
• Ensuring that all regulatory and quality assurance requirements are met
• Providing on time and accurate management reports and information
• People management with a focus on site safety
• Integrating operations with the broader business
